Regulatory Services Centre

The Business Regulatory Review Agency (BRRA) is mandated to coordinate the establishment, operationalisation and roll out of Regulatory Services Centres (RSCs) in Zambia in order to improve delivery and accessibility of business regulatory services and ultimately reduce the cost of doing business.

The establishment of Regulatory Services Centres is a strategy aimed at improving the business environment in Zambia through provision of an efficient regulatory clearance system by:

Streamlining procedures for starting or maintaining a business;
Reducing the time it takes to complete the business registration process; and
Increasing accessibility of regulatory agencies by placing their services under one roof.

The Agency has established six (06) fully fledged Regulatory Services Centres located in Chipata, Kabwe, Kitwe, Livingstone, Lusaka and Solwezi. Chinsali and Kasama RSCs were operationalised but yet to be fully fledged.

Objectives of Regulatory Services Centers

The main aim of establishing the Regulatory Services Centres is to provide for an efficient regulatory clearance system by:

Streamlining business registration processes.
Providing single licensing system.
Reducing the procedures and time it takes to complete the registration process; and
Increasing accessibility of business registration institutions by placing them under one roof.
